The Booklet: The Official Booklet contains itemized site listings and a map of the route. Check the Business Ads for specials and watch for the official numbered sites. The booklet is available early September in the weekly newspaper Eastern Graphic, at PEI Visitor Information Centres, at local businesses, on the Northumberland ferry,and you can download it from this website. Great Food: You can enjoy freshly barbecued Island Taylored Meats sausages, slurp down PEI's Best Oysters, fresh Colville Bay Oysters on the half shell, with a cold Gahan Beer, brewed right here in Charlottetown, or eat a good meal at our new restaurant, Candy's Diner, all here at Plough the Waves in Wood Islands.
Ceilidh: Join us for a ceilidh on the lawn of Plough the Waves Centre in Wood Islands on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 pm, featuring Dylan Ferguson, Mary Lou McLure, Roy MacDonald, Paulette Runighan, Walter Ching, Wayne Hader, Preston Johnson, Esther MacLaczuk and Emmett Decourse. What a line up!!. Remember to drive carefully and be patient while driving the route. Thousands of shoppers are out and about, and excitement abounds. Registration: You can download one of the forms below, fill it out, and then email it or fax it to us. We also now offer the convenience of online payment through PayPal. the 15th annual 70-Mile Coastal Yard Sale. Take the Northumberland
Ferry to Wood Islands and arrive at the starting point. The
yard sale route follows the coastline and backroads of
South Eastern PEI. Over 150 sites
offering antiques, collectibles and just about anything imaginable.
Sites are held at private homes, community halls, churches
and small businesses. 
Local
Attractions and Services: There are three historic lighthouses
in the area. The Wood Islands lighthouse, featuring several exhibits
of local seafaring history, the Point Prim Lighthouse, only round brick
lighthouse on PEI, and the Cape Bear Lighthouse, where the Marconi Station there
received the first distress signal from the Titanic. Each is well worth
a visit.
